We seek to play a full, relevant and positive role in society, as a good corporate citizen, to understand the impact of our actions on all our clients, employees and the broader community, and we build mutually beneficial relationships with them. Furthermore, we are passionate about making positive contributions to the communities in which we operate.

There are various examples of our corporate community involvement, including our giving and pro bono work, the partnerships we establish, and employee volunteering, as well as our programs for inclusion and diversity and the environment.

Environmental Sustainability

Although our impact on the environment is limited by the nature of our operations, we do take direct action to improve the environment, particularly in relation to our real estate and technology assets and to our employees’ business travel. Our environmental policy focuses on complying with local and international environmental legislation, taking environmental impact into account in CSR training programs, raising employee awareness of these issues, and using environmental best practices within our sphere of influence.

Local Community Support

Our work in local communities ranges from direct financial contributions to the extensive volunteer work undertaken by our employees. Our many ongoing community support projects around the world include the following:

• Data Concepts actively participates in the Freedom House activities.
• Data Concepts supports employee involvement in numerous charities and community organizations. The firm has developed programs that build partnerships with minority-owned and women-owned companies.
• Data Concepts management participates in two education programs, "Junior League" and "Help you Read."
• In India, Data Concepts works with non-governmental organizations to improve the lives of children throughout the country.

Global Projects: Earthquake and Tsunami Relief

Like so many companies and private individuals, Data Concepts was moved by the deaths and injuries of employees or of their families or friends as a result of the Asian earthquake and Tsunami disasters. We have undertaken efforts to help the affected population via a corporate donation to the International Red Cross, individual donations, and the encouragement and support of local plans launched by Data Concepts entities around the world, including a plan for India that was managed by associates of Data Concepts.

We have been collaborating with a charity organization Plan to rebuild a school in Kishtwar, Kashmir.
